Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to The current Fashion trend, fashion senses and the designers whom represents these senses researches starts from ancient century till 20th. Socially, economically, cultural and artistic terms of fashion trends reviews via comparing
Course Content: Identify social and cultural artistic factors affecting design.
• Perceive and analyze the culture and time periods in which designs are inspired.
• Can read and make sense of the present and future of fashion at a certain rate.
• Knows the stages of fashion history, comprehends the styles and forms created.
• Knows how to do research about the past for his designs, and makes conscious researches for his inspiration.
• Learns to express himself in visual, written and oral form.

2) Examining the social, economic, cultural and artistic conditions of the period • Beginning of Clothing, Beginning of Weaving, Hittites Period, Phrygians Theoretical, class participation, research, discussion and personal approaches The topics covered in the course are researched.
3) Examining the social, economic, cultural and artistic conditions of the period • Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greek period Theoretical, class participation, research, discussion and personal approaches The topics covered in the course are researched.
