Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Providing the necessary substructure for planning to fabric structure of woven fabrics at the weaving design course and making sense of the methods of the weaving structure creation. Woven fabrics classification will be performed as technically. Basic knttings will be explained that used in woven fabrics with the terms and creation of the fabric manufacturing.
Course Content: Distinguishes the basic weaves used in woven fabrics.
• Makes structural analysis of fabrics by using basic knitting and fabric making methods.
• Decides on the fabric structures to be used in the application of woven fabrics designed in design courses.
• Makes the classification of woven fabrics.
Recognizes the fabrics.

1) • Students are introduced to the course and the list of required materials. • The course outlines are discussed. The course plan is discussed. The curriculum is reviewed.
