Course Objectives: |
This course contributes to students are graphical design knowledge and experiences using by kind of typing character, typefaces and evocatory fragments. All the Works what performed in this course will be criticised and discussed visually (visual power) with balance, tension, motion and plastical factors. |
Course Content: |
1- Tipografinin nedir? Type, typwriter, typist, found, typeface kavramlarının anlamları, Gutenberg ile başlayan basımcılık ve hareketli hurufat sistemi kavramlarının açıklamaları, konu ile ilgili görsellerin sunumu. Keith ALDAG, Ruari Mc Lean, Warren Chappel’ın tipografi ile ilgili görüşlerinin işlenmesi.
2- Tarih öncesi Mağara resimleri, Antik Çağlarda Yazı Dizgeleri: Sümer uygarlığı ve Çivi yazısı, Çivi yazısını kullanan medeniyetler, Uruk tabletleri, Mısır uygarlığı yazıları Hiyeroglifler, Anadolu Uygarlıkları yazı biçimleri, Fonetik yazının bulunuşu, Etrüsk yazıları.
3- Roma uygarlığında yazı, Run (Runic) Yazısının analizi, Arap Yazısı, Aramice, Nabati yazıların anlatımı ve görsel sunumları.
4- Deneysel yazı uygulaması: A4 kağıt üüzerinde cetvel ve şablon yardımıyla harf kartı üzerinde yazı oluşturma, tonlama ve temel şekiller yoluyla a b c harflerinin oluşturulması, tırnaklı tırnaksız harf çizmek.
5- Latin yazısı türleri ve evrimi konusunun işlenmesi, Kare kapitaller, rustik Yazılar, karolenj yazılar. Majiskül Miniskül yazı nedir? Anziyal ve yazı anziyal yazım biçimleri.
