Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Developing students' 3-D thinking skills in computer environment, giving modeling skills in computer environment, transferring the techniques of preparing presentations
Course Content: Description of the usage for 3-dimensional modeling softwares and 2-D visual design softwares and students' applications with these softwares.

Week Subject Related Preparation
1) Use of computer in architectural representation
2) SketchUp software interface
3) Moving, copying, replication etc. use of simple commands, modeling a simple plan
4) Modeling a complex plan, transferring layer and component logic
5) Using camera, Working with scenes
6) Material use, sectioning, dimensioning techniques
7) Midterm Exam
8) Photoshop software interface
9) Transferring photos and images to the sheet, coloring
10) Working with selections, Text tool usage
11) Coloring, color changing, working with visual color settings
12) Use of images from modeling software in layouts
13) Output from SketchUp software, SketchUp Layout system and Photoshop relationship
