Course Objectives: | This course is concerned with the design and analysis of shallow foundations and fill/embankments. |
Course Content: | 1. Types of shallow foundations presented 2. Introduction to methods aimed at designing/analyzing shallow foundations 3. To learn different methods for computing bearing capacity 4.
