Course Objectives:	 Introducing the concepts of People, Nation, Ethnicity, Race, Music and Culture from the perspective of social science disciplines  Overview of the disciplines of Ethnomusicology, Folklore, Anthropology  Introducing the cultural characteristics of the people living in Turkey  Introducing the musical characteristics of the people living in Turkey
