Course Objectives: | This course aims to provide students with the skills to understand the communication process, comprehend various communication models and theories, and evaluate the cultural, historical, technological and ethical dimensions of communication. In this context, it is aimed for students to understand issues such as the history of communication, cultural dynamics, communication and media relationship, and the impact of technology and to be able to analyze them. |
Course Content: | This course includes the elements of communication and basic communication process; communication tools and dynamics; communication types and general characteristics; effects of mass, mass communication and mass communication; mass society and mass culture; mass communication models, theories of media effects, decisive means of mass communication in the world and in Turkey, effects, media provide information about community relations. |
