Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It aims to enable the student to gain knowledge and skills regarding the basic concepts of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, national mental health policy, mental health services, mental health and human behavior, protection and promotion of mental health, care, treatment and rehabilitation in cases of deterioration of mental health.
Course Content: This lesson; basic concepts and models related to psychiatric nursing and mental health, protection and promotion of public mental health, communication and therapeutic environment with individuals with and without mental health, mood disorders, mental problems seen in childhood, child psychiatry, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, organic It includes information and practices regarding mental disorders, rehabilitation in mental disorders, forensic psychiatry and liaison psychiatric nursing.
