Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to develop students' ability to understand, explain, listen and create through music, to enable them to understand the differences and similarities between Turkish music and Western music with their Classical and Folkloric genres, to explain the position of Turkish music within World music, to explain musical sensitivity, thinking, interpretation and creation skills.
Course Content: Gain performance skills in front of an audience
Examining and practicing chamber music examples
Performing the work with the nuances and style of its period

4) Acquisition of interpretation skills – Information about the works according to the works and the period of the work Lecture notes will be provided to students during class time.
5) Practice of nuances and vocalization techniques – Subjective studies and group studies Lecture notes will be provided to students during class time.
