Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to gain general knowledge about the basics of audiology for those who study health fields and health institutions. Basic information about hearing, anatomy and physiology of hearing is given. Information is given about the basic concepts of hearing assessment, measurement tests and devices used.
Course Content:	The content of this course; Define ear and ear anatomy Identifying hearing and hearing loss To describe the methods used in the evaluation of hearing Identifying devices used in hearing assessment Define aduiological masking

1) Having theoretical and practical knowledge at the basic level supported by textbooks, application tools and other resources that contain up-to-date information in the field based on competences gained at the level of education.
2) Gaining the ability to use the same level of theoretical and practical knowledge at the same level in an advanced level of education or in the same field. - To be able to interpret and evaluate data, to identify and analyze data, to develop evidence-based solution proposals using basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field.
