Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to examine the concept of psychological test in each sub-field of psychology in detail and to teach students the content and the use of it, its technical and theoretical basis, validity and reliability in test development, standardization, forming scale items and, the evaluation of commonly used scales. Besides the evaluation of important issues such as ethical dimensions, this course aims to teach students the objectives and areas of application.
Course Content: This course examines the concept of psychological testing in each sub-field of psychology in detail and teaches students its content and use, its technical and theoretical foundations, its validity and reliability in test development, its standardization, and its creation. assessment of scale items and commonly used scales. Alongside the assessment of important issues such as ethical dimensions, this course includes teaching students their purpose and application areas.
