Course Objectives: | This course will teach students to understand the concept of polyphony in Turkish Music and to explore different historical contexts. Various approaches to polyphony originating from periods, styles, and composers aims to examine. |
Course Content: | Definition of polyphony, development and stages of polyphony in Turkish folk music |
