Course Objectives: | Students: Beyond playing and singing folk songs, getting to know the folk poets and listening to them They also learn about the benefits and contributions they provide to the environment they live in. Classical Turkish music, divan texts, Anatolian language, spirit and subtleties It is a guide course to help them get an idea about the subject. What poets say and what they mean are not always the same. This training is required to show this difference. |
Course Content: | The hundred years that the bards lived, their teachers, if any, and the people they were influenced by is explained. The region where they live is examined. Then his poems are read with a few examples. A sample folk song is sung in class using baglama. Or it is played on tape. |
