Course Objectives: | This course aims to develop and strengthen students’ receptive and productive skills in written and spoken English. Emphasis is laid upon enlarging their vocabulary, improving their four fundamental skills, i.e. speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Upon completion of this course, students are expected to understand and create grammatically and syntactically correct sentences and use English effectively in a variety of situations. |
Course Content: | This course is conducted face to face. It aims to help students develop their General English skills at Upper-Intermediate level. All four skill areas- Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking- will be covered. Particular attention will be given to further expanding students’ vocabulary and to consolidating their grammar. |
