Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to develop students’ understanding of the film language format and provide them with the skills needed to produce documentaries to broadcast standard.

1) Students will be able to recognize and interpret indications, narrative structure and film style in any given film.
2) Students will be familiarized with the important films and directors in film history and will be able to critically evaluate their film language and aesthetics.
3) Students will be aware of the elements that compose film production, and will be able to differentiate between the duties of each crew member.
4) Through film language, students will be able to recognize the messages in a film and they will be able to analyze and evaluate these messages.
