Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to raise awareness about the historical development of Turkish Ornament and its place in traditional architecture.
Course Content: The main themes of the course are motifs and patterns and their drawing techniques, and their use in ceramics, pencil work and wood-metal or stone carving. At the same time, the application of these motifs is among the content of the course.

2) The general explanatory information about the art of traditional Turkish decoration is given with examples and visuals. The output of given course notes
3) In the Turkish decorative arts, the concepts of motif and pattern are explained and general information about drawing techniques and types is given. The output of given course notes
4) Motifs, which are the basic material of Turkish decorative arts, are introduced by grouping them according to their output sources. The output of given course notes
