Course Objectives: |
The aim of this course is to enable the students to know the civil, public or private national institutions operating in the field of Conservation and Restoration, to have knowledge about the current and past practices of the institutions and to know the legal regulations related to the initiatives of these institutions. In addition to this, it is also the aim of the course to make practical studies on the services that the sector needs with various workshops. |
Course Content: |
Seminars for introducing professionals of conservation field; local and administrative actors (Kudeb, Conservation Regional Board, etc.), public actors (VGM, National Palaces etc.), NGOs (Çekül Foundation, Taç Foundation, etc.) and some private actors (architects, conservation experts, academics) and Workshops on hand-carved, stone and wood restorations are among the contents of this course. |
