Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: In accordance with the Common Framework Text Standards for the Teaching of European Languages, it constitutes one branch of the elective course group prepared to develop 4 language skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening) for Turkish. The Turkish for Foreigners elective course group aims to enable students to use the linguistic content they learn at each language level in four skills.
Turkish for Foreigners: Speaking & Listening I course, 4 legs of Turkish for Foreigners elective courses; This includes gains to improve speaking and listening skills.
Course Content: Activities aimed at gaining or improving Turkish speaking and listening skills through resource book activities.

1) Understands the records using Standard Turkish. understands the subject in the conversation he is listening to. Can pronounce the sounds and words correctly, introduce themselves.

3) Makes inferences about the subject of the text he listens. Evaluates a current subject.
4) Understands terms and patterns in a certain area. Expresses himself clearly and in detail.
5) Understands idioms and feelings in everyday language. Transfers his ideas with cause-effect relationship.
6) Understands terms related to a specialty. Expresses opinions about the cause and consequences of an event or situation.
7) Understands the main message in the text he listens to. He makes inferences about the messages he receives and talks comfortably.

1) Adequate knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering subjects pertaining to the relevant discipline; ability to use theoretical and applied information in these areas to model and solve engineering problems.
2) Ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems; ability to select and apply proper analysis and modelling methods for this purpose.
3) Ability to design a complex system, process, device or product under realistic constraints and conditions, in such a way so as to meet the desired result; ability to apply modern design methods for this purpose. (Realistic constraints and conditions may include factors such as economic and environmental issues, sustainability, manufacturability, ethics, health, safety issues, and social and political issues according to the nature of the design.)
