Course Objectives: | This course will introduce the basic understanding of the professional outlook and mechanisms of the environmental design disciplines (planning, urban design, architecture, interior design, and related engineering disciplines) for the creation, development, continuation and readaption of the built environment in the spatial and temporal context(s). |
Course Content: | Physical and socio-economic structures of the society will be under focus including the community planning perspectives and organizational cultures involving the built environment processes and productions. Strategic frameworks of impact, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability throughout the conception, planning, designing and execution of plans and design for spaces and places will be major subjects of discussion throughout the course. |
