Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Examination of historical buildings in Istanbul with examples according to their periods
Course Content: The historical building stock in Istanbul are examined with examples, in terms of historical periods, functions, building typologies, materials and construction techniques. Some conservation and restoration examples of them are discussed in the respect of legal processes with project and application processes.
