Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Social Spaces – Urban Interior Design
Gaining basic mass-volume design relations and principles
researching, comprehending and evaluating the volume-human-furniture relations
in line with giving the student a unique design identity;
1/100, 1/50 scale; designing a flexible, functional and transformable urban interior

The project studio aims to reuse urban interiors. Urban spaces will be designed as spaces that create opportunities for urban residents to socialize, taking into account the socio-cultural environment. In the design process, it is aimed to define a social production area, production and exhibition, as well as a project that does not cut off its relation with the city. It is expected that in the areas to be designed, activities such as encounters, planned activities, and creative activities will be provided in terms of form and function.
