Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to introduce students to the science of psychology in general and to provide information about approaches in psychology, general theories and practical applications. The topics to be covered in the course include topics such as memory, learning, stress, health psychology and social psychology. |
Course Content: | The history of psychology and other fields related to psychology, The position of psychology as a scientific discipline, how behavioral and mental processes are handled with a historical perspective and with what methods it is examined, Human behavior and social environment, developmental periods (child, youth, adult, elder psychology) and personality development |
