Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The main purpose of the course is to prepare students for design and to establish the basic skills of design thinking and design research. Students are expected to explore organization, form, and space using a variety of design elements and materials. The course aims to build a visual vocabulary by emphasizing creativity and critical thinking through two- and three-dimensional exercises, design elements and features, design principles, and problems to develop students' mental and manual skills.
Course Content: In the course, design elements, design principles and features are studied theoretically and practically through two and three-dimensional studies.
