Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It aims to provide students with the ability to use all design principles and elements in architectural solutions by teaching them color-rhythm issues, which are the continuation of basic design thought and production processes.
Course Content: Transition from 2-dimensional concepts to 3-dimensional concepts and space and scale issues. Perception of architectural space, dimensions of the space, ceiling, floor, wall elements, space-sound-light-color relationships. Structure issues in architecture, linear structures, suspended-tensioned structures, dynamic structures. Architectural space and topography. Coding and mapping of topography, perception of city and topography relations. Structural experiments on settlement in urban topography.
