Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: 1) Performing basic information about respiratory and cardiac physiology and anatomy, structure and its function
2) Performing pulmonary and cardiac evaluation in patients
3) Submiting and analysing solution proposals based on problem, in respiration and cardiac system illness.
4) Having ability to decide for physiotherapy and rehabilitation in respiratory and cardiac system disesases.
Course Content: This course includes subjects such as the respiratory and cardiac physiology and anatomy, pulmonary and cardiac structure and its function, evaluation in pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation, respiratory diseases, chest physical therapy techniques, physical therapy in pulmonary and cardiac surgery, physical therapy applications in intensive care unit.
