Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim is to provide students with the skills of using 3D Studio Max, one of the computer-aided design programs, and to convey presentation methods to students with the help of Photoshop on realistic spaces obtained with the program possibilities.
Course Content: Contains lectures in major materials used in space and furniture design such as Wood, metal, glass, CTP and the subsidiary materials used in conjunction with these, the adhesives, nails, varnishes, floor coverings, upholstery fabrics

Theoretical - Conceptual
1) Students will gain a foundational understanding of the 3ds Studio Max program, including its purpose and key features.
2) Students can use cameras, lights, and shadows to enhance the visual representation of their 3D scenes. ​
2 - Skills
Cognitive - Practical
1) Participants will become proficient in navigating the 3ds Studio Max interface, understanding and utilizing File and Edit menu commands.
2) Participants will demonstrate the use of Modify commands through practical examples, enhancing their ability to manipulate and refine 3D objects.
3) Students will learn and apply the 2D and 3D Shapes commands, gaining hands-on experience in creating and manipulating geometric forms.
4) By applying the Create and Material Editor commands, they can create and manipulate materials.
5) Students can gain practical demonstration of applying color and texture by using methods to create map libraries. ​
6) Students can process rendering in 3ds Studio Max as well as importing it into Photoshop and applying effects, painting, text, and drawing commands for further processing. ​
