Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to provide the student with the practice of designing scientific research in accordance with ethical principles, collecting research data, performing statistical analyzes appropriate to the research, and interpreting the results obtained.
Course Content: This lesson; General concepts and techniques, research and publication ethics, Measurements, Research types, Frequency distributions, Averages, Probability concepts, Binomial probability distributions, Normal probability distributions, Fundamentals of hypothesis testing, Fundamentals of confidence intervals, Analysis of quantitative variables, Inference about the mean, Independent group averages comparison, Comparison of more than two means (One-Way ANOVA), Correlation and Regression, Multiple linear regression, Analysis of categorical variables, Inference about the ratio, Comparison of two ratios, Cross tables, Stratified tables, Overview of nonparametric methods; Includes topics.
