Course Objectives: | To make experiments by producing projects that can solve graphic design problems in middle and advanced level by using expression methods such as typography, illustration, photography, and to gain a visual language creation by using symbolism and semiology. |
Course Content: | It is a project-based course. The projects to be applied by the student in the workshop are about entering the world of professional graphic design. The students are given projects in order to expose students' imagination and talents, to focus on creativity and new approaches. It is expected that various graphic design applications applied in the world will be investigated, examined, questioned and projects will be carried out to create new forms. The course aims to help students to develop creative visual solutions by combining their practical skills with theoretical knowledge by understanding the most complex communication problems by giving them examples of communication tools that are constantly renewed by the developing technology and the most common uses. |
