Course Objectives: | To gain a basic perspective on public and private health insurance and to explain the importance of finance and insurance in health management. In addiction, to give the knowledge and skills to understand how the agreements could be between insurance companies and other institutions. |
Course Content: | This course includes the following topics; concepts in insurance and health insurance, health insurance type and classification, location of the main funding models and health insurance in the health and importance of social security and health insurance in Turkey: an overview of health insurance practices in Turkey, General health insurance, Private health insurance, Complementary health insurance, Health insurance and recent developments in payment systems, Agreements between insurance companies and institutions, Agreements between insurance companies and institutions, Overview of private insurance companies and company agreements. |
