| The aim of our Industrial Engineering Department is to ensure that our students graduate as industrial engineers who can carry out education, research and community service activities in accordance with universal standards, produce knowledge and technology to contribute to regional and national development, and possess the qualities listed below. - To possess the knowledge necessary to enhance the efficiency and quality of organisations in the manufacturing and service sectors. - To be able to design and effectively utilise human, material, machine, energy, financial, technological, and information resources as a system. - To enable them to work effectively with computer systems and take on an innovative role in researching new technologies. - To help them gain the ability to effectively convey technical material to an audience through verbal presentations and written reports. - To lead industrial engineers in understanding their social responsibilities to civil society and in gaining awareness of the need to practise their profession within a framework of professional and ethical rules. - To ensure that they have a command of English terminology at a level that enables them to discuss technical details with engineers representing other countries in international multi-partner projects, along with knowledge of the structure and content of the English language. - To help them acquire the ability to query, categorise and interpret the data presented to them. - To enable them to develop leadership, entrepreneurship, and teamwork skills in industrial projects. |
