Aim of the Programme

The aim of the Civil Engineering program is to make our students graduate as civil engineers with qualifications mentioned below;

Ability to produce practical and effective solutions to Civil Engineering science and technology problems.
Fundamental knowledge about structure, transportation, hydraulics, soil mechanics and material science fields of Civil Engineering.
Ability to control the design techniques of structural projects and building materials with respect to existing specifications.
Ability to examine, categorize and interpret the presented data.
Ability to accomplish engineering calculations for structural projects by computers and prepare the technical drawings by CAD softwares.
Knowledge on civil engineering terms in a level to discuss technical details with engineers representing other countries in international construction projects by their knowledge on the structure of English language and context.
Ability to convey the technical media effectively to the audience in oral presentations and technical reports.
Awareness of responsibility to keep their technical knowledge up to date after graduation and ability to adapt the new knowledge to their jobs.
Ability to leadership, entrepeneurship and effective team work in construction projects.
Awareness to civil engineers' social responsibility against civil society and practise their occupation professionally and under ethical codes.
