Aim of the Programme

The aim of the Mechatronics Engineering Doctorate Program can be described as providing the following knowledge and skills to its graduates.

a) Knowledge and ability to apply the interdisciplinary synergetic approach of mechatronics to the solution of engineering problems,
b) Ability to design mechatronic products and systems using the mechatronics approach,
c) Knowledge and ability to analyze and develop existing products or processes with a mechatronic approach,
d) Ability to communicate effectively and teamwork with other disciplines,
e) The understanding of performing engineering in accordance with ethical principles,
f) An understanding of using technology with awareness of local and global socio-economic impacts,
g) Approach to knowing and fulfilling the necessity of lifelong learning.
