General Information

During the formation of the Department of International Trade, the components of international trade, namely related documents and their management, national and international rules and regulations of international trade, logistics, insurance, financing of international trade, incentives and governmental subsidies, were aimed to be put forward as a whole were considered at first hand. Our main objectives include considering the needs of the industries in a wider context by the University-Industry colloboration approach through conducted studies and initiated research and founded research and application centers; conducting the research and examinations demanded by the industry; and prividing the public with the insights we gain from the measurement, research, and analysis concerning the application of the rules of international trade.Our students are full encouraged to engage in activities which would enable them to improve their personal skills and help them to shape their career plans. Site visits to the parties and agencies involved in international trade and on-campus seminars by high authorities, students’ short term and part-time employment and internships within the framework of Preparation for the Business Life Program, and their participation in research and varying projects assure the exchange of experiences and ideas between key figures and our students.
