Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course begins with the subjects of basic principles and liability and first part of course contains detailed information about sources of criminal law, application of criminal law in the terms of time, place and person. In the second part of the course, general theory of crime will be taught. And also students can understand that criminal law is protector of the human rigths. At this point, criminal capacity, intent, negligence, unjust provocation, recidivism, elements of crime, criminal attempt, accompliceship and joinder of crimes will be the essential concepts. At the end of this course, students will be abe to use general concept of criminal law, reseources and principles of criminal law.

5. The Concept of Crime with General Theory of Crime in General and Elements of Crime

1) Meeting and Introduction: Criminal Law options, the function of Criminal Law, its sections, development process, the relationship between other legal relations.
2) Criminal Law in the historical process, introduction to the basic principles of Criminal Law.
3) Continue to the basic principles, the basis of criminal responsibility, resources and interpretation in Criminal Law.
4) Principles of implementation of criminal laws (with application in terms of time, place and person).
5) Continue the principles of enforcement of criminal laws and give back the criminals.
6) Continuing to give back the criminals, introduction to the general theory of crime and the facts that are outside the elements of the crime in this context.
7) Introduction to the elements of crime, the typical element of crime (legality of crime + material element of crime).
8) Continue to the typical element of crime, introduction to the element of crime against the law.
9) Reasons of lawfulness in crime.
10) Continue to the reasons for compliance with the law and enter the imperfection factor of the crime.
11) Continuing to the defect element of the crime, caste and negligence as the types of defect.
12) Continuation of caste and taxi, defects in crimes aggravated by the result, situations affecting the defect.
13) Special forms of crime and attempted crime.
14) Continue attempting crime, introduction to crimes.

17) Purpose and characteristics of punishment, introduction to crimes against people and property, crimes against life (deliberate killing).
18) Types of punishment, prison sentences, judicial fines, deliberate murder, committing suicide, and crimes of negligence.
19) Determination of the sentence, alternative sanctions for short term imprisonment, crimes against body immunity (deliberate injury).
20) Recurrence in crime, establishment and termination of the criminal relationship, crime of negligence injury, crimes against honor (insult crime).
21) Introduction to the causes that eliminate the punishment relationship: death, amnesty; crimes against property (theft).
22) Continuing the reasons that eliminate the punishment relationship: Timeout, giving up complaints, prepayment, compromise, looting, damage to property, abuse of trust.
23) Security measures, fraud, free use, crimes of the purchase or acceptance of the crime.
24) Practical work.
