Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is the explanation of the concepts related to Negotiable Instruments Law from a theoretical and practical basis. In this framework, initially the fundamental concepts are studied generally and subsequently the bills and notes, in particular bill of exchange, promissory notes and checks are examined. |
Course Content: | Bbasic qualifications of negotiable instruments law; the legal provisions and opinions of scholars pertaining to negotiable instruments law; securities and other notes similar to negotiable instruments; registered, bearer instruments and instruments; bills and notes (bill of exchange, promissory notes and checks); commodity bills. |
