Course Objectives: | Starting from the basic of the child development to the development of before birth, development of early childhood, development of school child (late childhood) and development of adolescence to give informations about these basic subjects and concepts. To explain the role of the childhood developer and highligth the childhood developer's importances. And to be formed an awaraness of group works. |
Course Content: | Children's rights, the historical process and the children in different cultures, children in the family system, the child's profile in Turkey, development and concepts for growth, development basic principles, factors affecting development, development areas, development stages, developmental theories, prenatal development and birth , physical and motor development, cognitive development, language development, social and emotional development, moral development, sexual development, development of self-care skills, the role of child developers in the field of child development, the importance of teamwork in the professional field. |
