Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to explain the concepts related to scientific research techniques and to analyze and apply the processes in scientific research. The course covers methods used in research, measurement tools, hypothesis creation and sample selection. It is aimed to contribute to the students to consider evidence based practices and to plan interdisciplinary studies by following new developments in the professional field.
Course Content: Selecting the research problem, searching the literature using databases, creating research questions and hypotheses, qualitative and quantitative research methods and techniques, creating appropriate research patterns for the problem, choosing the right sample, the features and application of scales, collecting, analyzing, interpreting and reporting process. The process of following ethical rules and publishing in refereed journals in research
