Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to examine and learn in detail about hearing aids, implants and assistive technologies for hearing loss. |
Course Content: | Evaluation of hearing loss patient, history of hearing aids, purpose and principles of using hearing aids, hearing loss that can and cannot be rehabilitated with hearing aids, basic elements of hearing aids, types of hearing aids, preparation and types of earmolds, selection of hearing aids, application of hearing aids for different hearing losses, objective verification of hearing aids, auditory implants and assistive listening devices. |
