Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Basics of intellectual property law and protection of author’s rights are shown. Author’s rights and related rights are throughly analysed. Students are informed on the legal protection of the work. The connection between the new information technologies in the digital world, media instruments and the author’s rights. New internet communication modes are evaluated within the framework of author’s rights.
Course Content: Key features of intellectual property law and copyright protection. Current intellectual property law.

1) • Students will be able to define the concept of work and ownership in the legal sense.
2) • Students will have information about protecting the rights of the author with copyright.

5) • Students will be able to realize works of art protection with technical support on the internet.
6) • Students will be able to evaluate which types of verbs can be considered as intellectual property violations.
