Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to enable students to understand and learn psychology terms, to increase their vocabulary and to structure their grammar with the help of the articles they read, to improve their reading and listening skills with the help of written and oral texts related to the topic of the week, and to express themselves in the target language by expanding their communication skills.
Course Content: Bu ders, öğrencilerin yeni kelimeler, sözcük öbekleri ve konuşmalardan oluşan özgün bağlamlar oluşturarak mesleki kelime dağarcığını genişletmelerini, dönem içerisinde anlaşılır bir dil bilgisinin sağlanmasıyla mesleki dil bilgisini yapılandırmayı, okuma ve dinleme becerilerini geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu derste, ilgili metinlerin yardımıyla, öğrencilerin kendi dillerindeki iletişim becerilerini ve akıcılığını geliştirerek hedef dilde kendilerini ifade etme konusunda güvenlerini geliştirmek amaçlanmaktadır. Bu kapsamda dersler, açıklama, sınıf çalışması, tartışma ve grup çalışmaları biçiminde yapılır.
