Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Developing students' computer aided technical drawing and architectural application project skills.
Course Content: Use of software that provides model and color printouts from application projects with AutoCAD software that enables application project and technical drawing in computer environment..

Lesson Plan

Week Subject Related Preparation
1) Introduction to AutoCAD software interface
2) Two-dimensional motif work and copying, moving, processing of multiple copy commands
3) Transfering visuals of with known dimensions to AutoCAD environment
4) Application of the survey technique in AutoCAD environment
5) Implementation of a simple plan drawing with elements such as walls, doors, windows
6) Implementing a complex plan, using layers, working with blocks
7) Midterm Exam
8) Working with dynamic blocks
9) Dimensioning, getting scaled print-outs
10) Basic layout design application, large-scale output, output in different file formats
11) Coloring, color changing, working with visual color settings
12) Coloring of technical drawing made in AutoCAD environment with Photoshop software
13) Basic principles of using AutoCAD 3 dimensions
14) Modeling a simple plan in 3D in AutoCAD environment
