Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It aims to meet HOUSING and architectural culture with its current and historical forms. It deals with the values that people develop while producing life styles and types of accommodation through reading and analyzing architectural theory and historical readings, social sciences (philosophy, sociology, cultural anthropology, behavioral psychology) and literature.
Course Content: Housing problems, the environment and settlements, the conceptualization of the city, the relation between the structures and their own environments, the creative / founding potential of the surrounding environment, the city, politics and art. In addition to classroom discussions, short trips to nearby cities, rural areas and settlements are part of the period work. In the course, active and creative participation of students is expected with environments such as photography, drawing, design, documentary video.
