Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to discuss how the concept of tectonics in architecture can be observed at different scales of the design process through design tools.
Course Content: Tectonic thinking takes the building as a unity, which is revealed by the structure, material and experience relations and forms the basis of the questions asked during the formation of the space. The predictions about the quality of the space are created by the designer interpreting the relations obtained through the objects of representation, especially the sense of physical reality created by three-dimensional tools. Within the scope of the course, the awareness of this interpretation turns into question through individual productions.
