Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to discuss the mechanisms of basic mammalian motives and emotions across evolutionary, developmental, physiological, and social contexts. Within this framework, the autonomous nervous system, endocrinal system, hypothalamus, limbic system; basic motivation and emotion theories, basic mechanisms of hunger, thirst, sexual and psychosocial motives will be studied in detail.
Course Content:	The aim of this course is to discuss the mechanisms of basic mammalian motives and emotions across evolutionary, developmental, physiological, and social contexts. Within this framework, the autonomous nervous system, endocrinal system, hypothalamus, limbic system; basic motivation and emotion theories, basic mechanisms of hunger, thirst, sexual and psychosocial motives will be studied in detail.
