Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It aims to define the role of manager in nursing services management practices, examine the functions in the nursing services management steps and associate selected organizational behaviors with work environments.
Course Content: This course covers the role of the manager nurse in planning, organization, execution, control and evaluation steps, managerial problem solving, change planning, maintenance presentation models, work schedule preparation, evidence-based nursing, nursing human resource management, quality management, accreditation and legal ethics / professional Includes topics.

Field Specific Competence
1) Examines nursing services management functions. Selects the personal management model in nursing management applications. Compares hospital and community based care delivery systems. Examines the change requirements in nursing services management and applies the theory of change to practice. Defines evidence-based nursing practices and recommends its use in practice. To analyze the effects of contemporary approaches in nursing human resources management. Examines the effects of organizational behaviors on employee, service individual, quality and patient safety. It examines continuous quality improvement models and national / international accreditation (JCI, Magnet, EFQM etc.) by taking into consideration the country's health care services.
