Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is; communication processes, basic communication concepts, communication history, structure, functions, properties and types, communication sciences with other disciplines, communication models and communication ethics. |
Course Content: | 1. Define the basic concepts related to the field of Communication Science. 2. Knows the historical development of communication processes and tools. 3. Describes the communication process and the characteristics of the items involved in the process. 4. Uses communication effectively. 5. Detect the importance of the culture within the communication process. 6. Effectively apply the items necessary for effective speaking. 7. They can analyze the communication processes they witness. 8. They gain awareness about their own communication styles. 9. They can initiate the necessary change in their own communication styles. 10. Have the ability to develop healthy communication in conflict situations. 11. Evaluates which type of communication will be used in all areas of life. 12. Uses nonverbal communication methods. 13.The knowledge, skills and competencies that you are able to engage in are determined by the ethical principles of life and individual and social goals its importance. |
