Department of Sports Management started to education in 2008 with the name of Sports Sciences. The main purpose of the Sports Management Department is train candidates who are ready and willing to participate in the competitive environment of the national and international arena, equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills in the sports industry. The knowledge and skills required by the business life are given to the sports manager candidates who are given the basic qualifications that are ready to work in the international field during their four-year education.
Sports Management; It is a multidisciplinary social area that deals with the basic functional areas of the management field such as marketing, finance, human resources and economics with areas such as event management, sponsorship and media communication of the sports industry. The Sports Management program is an academic unit that offers opportunities to students for improve their management and organizational skills. In addition, our students are able to benefit from the Minor and Double Major programs available at our university and exchange programs with contracted universities within the framework of the European Union Erasmus Program. |
