Course Objectives: | To provide a deeper understanding of the relations between media, society and politics |
Course Content: | The course deals with the processes of meaning production in the media alongside a critical understanding of issues and concepts of cultural representation, everyday life politics and media-power relations. Course content is designed with a specific focus on news media and the complex relations of political communication. |
