Course Objectives: | To be aware of students with special needs, to provide students with special needs to acquire academic skills and socialize in the mainstreaming environment. |
Course Content: | Basic concepts related to special education; the principles and historical development of special education; legal regulations on special education; diagnosis and evaluation in special education; individualization of teaching; mainstreaming and support special education services; family participation in education and cooperation with the family; characteristics of different disability and ability groups; educational approaches and teaching strategies for different groups; effective strategies in class management and behavior management. |
