Course Objectives: | This course is designed to help students become aware of their own values. The Values lesson helps students to build their own value system. This approach deals with the formation of values rather than the content of the values. |
Course Content: | Conceptual framework: Character, personality / personality, value, virtue, morality, temperament, temperament, etc .; character development and education; family, environment and school in character development and education; definition and classification of values; sources of values and individual, social, cultural, religious, moral foundations; approach to character and value education; a culture of intercultural differentiation and coexistence in character and value education; character and value education in terms of educational philosophy and objectives; teaching methods and techniques in character / value education; values crisis and education in modern and multicultural societies; value education in the process of human-cultural development; Turkey examples about the value of education and cultural history education, practice and research values education in Turkey; teacher as a role model in character and value education |
